Aqualandia Benidorm – Spanish paradise of water attractions

In the heart of the sunny Costa Blanca, just a few kilometers from the lively center of Benidorm, lies one of the largest water parks in Europe. Aqualandia Benidorm has been attracting water fans from all over the world for 40 years, offering a range of attractions and fun on hot Spanish days. And here is some information about this water paradise!

History and location

Aqualandia was opened in 1985 as the first water park in Spain. It is located on the hills of Benidorm – a popular resort in the province of Alicante. This year marks the 40th anniversary of its opening!

This water park is one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Thanks to its location – on a hill – visitors can enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Benidorm coastline, which is an additional attraction during their stay in this place.

Daredevils experience the feeling of free fall, which guarantees a real boost of adrenaline!!!

Other attractions in Aqualandia

Aqualandia is not only a world of water attractions. The park also includes numerous restaurants, bars and gastronomic points offering both local specialties and an international menu. Numerous picnic zones allow you to rest in the shade of palm trees and Mediterranean vegetation.

The water park divides the area with Mundomar – a sea park where you can admire dolphin and sea lion shows. There is a common ticket between the two venues, which allows you to visit both attractions at a special price;-)

Aqualandia is open seasonally, usually from late May to late September.
